Privacy policy
Last updated 15 October 2026. This covers the QLD Smoke Alarm Planner iPhone app and this website.
The app
No account, no analytics, no tracking. The app collects no data. The home layout and alarms you enter are saved only on your iPhone, in the app's own storage, and are never sent anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. The app only asks Apple whether the unlock was bought; it never sees your payment details.
- Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. The app asks for notification permission only when you first switch a reminder on.
- PDF and shopping list are made on your iPhone and only go where you choose to share them.
This website
The site counts page views with GoatCounter, which sets no cookies and stores no personal data: it records the page, the referring site, and the browser type and screen size in broad groups. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard server logs.
